About the Host

Sarah Sasson is an author, immunologist and medical researcher living on Gadigal land in Sydney. Her debut literary fiction novel Tidelines was published by Affirm Press in 2024 and prior to that she edited Signs of Life (MoshPit Publishing, 2021), an international anthology themed around first- and second-hand experiences of illness and caregiving. Sarah is passionate about the Australian reading and writing community and has appeared at the Sydney Writers’ Festival, Byron Writers’ Festival, The Australian Student Journalism Conference at Sydney University, and at local library events.
